I Went To Borders And Came Home Broke

I was going to get Inception and TRON: Legacy too, but I didn't have enough money to get all the books I wanted AND 28 dollars worth of movies. *gulps* For being all discounts, Borders is still slightly a rip off......

I didn't even have enough money to get all the books I wanted.

Ooh, well.

But I DID get two books for you lovely followers!

They will be up for grabs at my 100-follower giveaway, soon to happen Lord willing ;)

Here are two cryptic pictures if  you want to guess which books they are.

There will hopefully be another book, a DVD to give away and a notebook & pens as well, but we shall see, seeing I am broke :P

Anyway, see if you can tell what these goodies are:

*waves empty wallet*

ttfn, y'alls.

BRONZE BOW!!! BRONZE BOW!!!....Not like everyone else hasn't already recognized it... :P

I still actually have to read that book, I think I have a copy of it somewhere, probably hiding under my bed, I meant to read it a long time ago I think or maybe that was some other book...why am I telling you all of this. Oh, yes, because I haven't the faintest clue what the other book is and I am trying to make up for it.

:D I went to Borders the other day and came home a little more fortunate than you but totally...book sales...are you kidding me COUNT ME IN!!!! But I couldn't find anything I wanted terribly terribly much...though I almost bought the audio book of Despereaux...but the realization that I can get it from the library for free was whispering frantically to my thin wallet and something stingy inside of me won out... *sigh* 'Tis sadness.

Enjoy your plunder and my your wallet be filled soon!

The top picture is certainly the Bronze Bow! I really like that book... it helps you get a perspective of what the people back then probably thought of Jesus.

Nice picks! About the Borders-being-a-ripoff bit, I sort of thought the same thing when I read the beginning, what with them closing and all.

I just got books from Boarders too! Only I had to order mine from online. They just came today. My very own copy of Jane Eyre, Be The Change, by Zach Hunter, and Humility, by C. J. Mahaney. I love getting new books!

By the way, I love The Bronze Bow! Can't wait for the giveaway... I should host me one of those **said as Flynn from Tangled might say it**
