Whoa, you guys, look.......

It's Artemis Fowl in the flesh!

Ask Amaranthine. She showed me this picture herself. ^^

I also think this one is a good "Artemis" looking one.......

Seriously, someone needs to get on the ball, make the movie and hire Asa to play Artemis before he gets too old........

Hmmm ... I'm not totally convinced. I've always seen Artemis looking a little less ... friendly? I dunno, he just doesn't look quite right to me.

Still, I think they should get on with those movies, seriously! But woe betide them if they mangle the book the way they did to Inkheart... *cracks knuckles*

artemis fowl movie!

The day they announce the movie will be the awesomest day of my life.

And he looks friendly in these pictures, but if you've seen the pictures of him in Merlin he's also capable of looking very un-friendly XD.
(and he'll have to perfect that for Ender's Game anyways XD)

In the words of tumblr's smileatthemoon: "Why isn’t already Asa Butterfield in my Artemis Fowl movie? (Most important: why isn’t already there my Artemis Fowl movie?)"

Hey, you're right! Though I've always kind of imagined Artemis older. Does it ever say how old he is? I always thought of him like fourteen. But he's kind of got the well, sicklyish palish look to him. :-) I do hope they get on with that movie!!

I have a friend that looks like Artemis. He's just as smart and antisocial, too. It was kind of odd when I first met him because I had literally just finished the third book, and I thought, "Wait - what?!?!" So I introduced myself and saw that his hair was actually only ridiculously dark brown, not black...

I was going to post one where he looked a little more cold and calculating, but I didn't want to scare anyone..... xD

And PF.... that is FUNNY. It's like, "WHAT?? Artemis is real?" xD

And Hannah, he enters the series at the age of 12, I believe. By the end he's what........ 16?? Someone help me out here.

Yeah, those ages sound about right.

And that picture + caption was priceless. It was the comment that made my day. (I can't stop laughing, seriously....)

I hope so. The first time I saw a movie with him in it I was like, please choose this guy to play Artemis. I'm glad I'm not alone.
